Dr. Clapp is recognized by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as a board-certified pediatric dentist. Dr. Clapp grew up in Iowa, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wartburg College in 1995, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa in 1999. Following dental school, he completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry, Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
